As an instructor you may have been tasked in providing a training class for your department. We recommend you start in the research and planning section and learn about Spikes and take our Student and Instructor test. We will send you a certificate to be a trainer at your department.

STUDENT PORTION

The Student portion starts in the tab labeled Training Overview. We separate the Student portion into three areas, each has several tabs and goes into great detail. We have tabs labeled CLASSROOM, PARKING LOT, AND TRACK TRAINING.

At minimum should contain an overview of your department policy on tyre deflation devices and introduction to the Spike system and service. We also recommend a hands on portion in a parking lot using your Spikes. The Track training is reserved for a later date for more advanced training.

FACTORY SUPPORT

Spike Devil makes it easy to self train your department. We have manuals to download on the website and the website itself follows the manual. We also have trainers available to Awnser your questions.

Track Training: A more advanced form of Training with moving vehicles is available with systems that use rubber Spikes that allow you to pass over the system without damage and simulate a real Pursuit. These systems are available for purchase or on a loan basis.

We recommend as an instructor start on the Research and planning section to learn about Spikes, then take a test and email it to us. We will issue you an Instructors certificate. Next before your start your class review the student portion starting in Training overview tab, and take that test if you want a Student certificate.

Your system should have included a paper with QR codes and emails to contact us. A customer service person calls each department to establish contacts to support your needs. We have a contact page on this website, we limit our contact info on the internet for cybersecurity reasons.
