As the instructor may have been task in providing a training class for your department. In the overview we go over many forms of training to help guide you in your program. By this time your ready to iniciate your class you should already been trained and have basic idea of our programs.

Classroom Portion

The classroom portion at minimum should contain an overview of your department policy on tyre deflation devices. You should go over recommended deployment site locations and should go over locations not recommended and you should go over circumstances where spike may not be approved.

Classroom material you can decide whether to go over the classroom material in the classroom or a less formal setting for officers review the material and maybe work with field training officer.

PARKING LOT We recommend that when your spike systems arrive, you set up a training class in a parking lot using your Spikes. Since they are loaded you should be careful by closing the area from traffic. We

TRACK TRAINING A more advamced form of Training is available with systems that use rubber Spikes that allow you to pass over the system without damage and simulate a real Pursuit.
